Every pet is unique, and Dr. Kyra believes in honoring that individuality by offering the opportunity to say goodbye in a personalized setting. She has facilitated peaceful passings at home surrounded by loved ones, at a favorite trailhead, at the beach and many other incredibly special locations.Â

As someone who has counseled hundreds of pet parents through end-of-life decisions, Dr. Kyra brings deep empathy, steady guidance, and a calming presence to your home.
This was our first time having to make this difficult decision. Dr.Heirich explained everything to us and talked through the whole process step by step. She was very gentle , kind and didn’t rush. She allowed us to spend as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. It was so peaceful . We are so fortunate to have had this option available to us .

Dr Kyra came to our home to humanely euthanize our sweet lab. She was very personable, answered all questions well, was professional, and handled our boy with care. This was a much better experience for us all than having to transport him to an emergency hospital. We were under the trees in our backyard so we were able to keep him as comfortable as possible.
